What props is you brother using? It looks like the spark can achieve a 1.9 thrust ratio with standard props. This would certainly limit your angle of flight. Ballparking, around 45deg before losing altitude
He is actually using stock props. Yes, maybe it was'nt quite "vertical". However, it did lose power and could not provide enough lift to sustain flight. The whole flight was actually only 60 meters in length approx. What props is you brother using? It looks like the spark can achieve a 1.9 thrust ratio with standard props. No, but in atti mode- which is not supported, you have to hack the programming, you can almost go into "manual mode", ie, much greater tilt angle in flight.Does the Spark have the Manual Mode Option?
I'll try talking againSo that’s only a couple of seconds. I guess it could do that if it was already at a decent speed and in a climb before starting the speed run. Maybe lucky he recovered it at the end
I would love to see the attempt if you can talk him into it
I believe it only lasted about 2 seconds, maybe less. He used full throttle, and had a decent altitude, too.So that’s only a couple of seconds. I guess it could do that if it was already at a decent speed and in a climb before starting the speed run. Maybe lucky he recovered it at the end
