Just wondering if any body has used them, and does it work, is it even worth while. Looking for experienced users. Thankx

Would like to know if it works too. Just got my Mavic this Monday and went on an Amazon buying spree buying all sorts of accessories (apart from this - gimbal sunshade, joystick protectors, Marco Polo finder, landing gear stabilizers, UV filters, landing pad) :)

No. I've seen conflicting videos on YouTube. I personally tested it in my neighborhood (big city). I found it to be worse.

My theory is that maybe in an unobstructed area, this product may work. I'll re-test when I'm in a desert. ;-)

I read a review that did the math and pointed out that the parabolic dishes are in the wrong shape for the wavelength/frequencies of the transmission signals. So ultimately, no - I wouldn't count on them.

Experienced RF engineer here. No. And if it looks like they work it's likely dumb luck. If you have distance issues it's probably interference related.

The Mavic range is awesome out of the box. DJI have certainly done their homework with antenna and signal design. Changing one parameter will affect others like directivity and the amount of energy that gets reflected back to the receiver, which can cause damage to it.
