I don't believe it was mentioned but did you purchase the DJI Refresh? They will replace due to user error.

I may have done the same thing too had I not studied the manual and watched some YouTube videos. All the gear, no idea?

There are a lot of great YouTube videos, some are less than great. Many of the videos are out of date as soon as DJI does an upgrade and changes the software and also the menus/selections. Which also makes the manual out of date. This is especially true with camera selections and options. I'm not sure your comment, "All the gear, no idea?" applies.

From what I can see, 2 factors may have contributed to the crash:

1. Speed: perhaps you were flying a bit too fast (Sport mode?), and
2. Altitude: too close to ground?

Either way, sorry for your loss.

Hey all, just an update.... I sold it on eBay for USD220 (including shipping). I'm pretty happy as it basically covered the cost of the crash.

I got it repaired shortly after the crash. Drone is back in action. Woohoo!
