Anyone fly in Tucson? Any suggestions on where to fly and take some pics? I’m sure I could find plenty, but places I know I’m allowed to fly is my question. Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

FAA regulates air space, not the peeps on the ground. Some people don’t even want you flying from the street in the area around their house. It’s always a crap shoot as to who you’re going to get worked up because you’re invading their space. Two choices. Keep flying and tell them to call 911, or apologize and move on. I actually had a drone pilot tell me he didn’t want my fly toys flying over his neighborhood because his h.o.a. president didn’t like drones. So he can fly over his house, but no one else was allowed? The silly part was, I was easily 250 yards east of “his” neighborhood. Told him he was welcome to look at the flight log. That shut him up. But to get back to your question, yes there are lots of places to go.9A6D32FD-72F7-4530-A764-7E7E747A660C.jpegB0AF1841-CD50-4EA8-9952-5EAFDF2FBC05.jpegE88EBCCE-E1A6-4E30-A94A-C9CE84F92BCD.jpegE607E63B-CE56-428B-A5D3-2FB6E7C5A2D1.jpeg

Thanks for the worthless info and thanks in advance for not wasting my time in the future.

Lot's of wide open space up Reddington Road. Just drive east on Tanque Verde. Check it out on Google Earth.
