FAA Registration number

I purchased the Mini 3 Pro and sold my Mavic Mini to a friend. How do I remove the drone FAA registration so he can register it in his name? Any help appreciated.

Just remove the Registration number from the actual drone, that is all you need to do.

So this was registered under Part 107? If so then you simply cancel its registration under the Part 107 dashboard at faadronezone.faa.gov.

If it is a recreational aircraft then it is not registered - you are registered - and there is nothing to cancel.

If you wish, you can remove the drone from your Recreational User Inventory:

Regardless of how it’s registered, just delete it from your account. Simple. The other person will have to register it if he wants, or not.
