FAA,

Before flying in the US, you need to register on the FAA's website here.

The registration rule was recently reinstated. See more details here.

Hey guys, to be sure about that,

I am going to the US in August and i would like to take my drone.
If i got it right - the 5 $ fee was removed right?

Furthermore, i do need to register my drone ?

Thank you for update!

Do I register my Mavic or not ,I read you do then I read you don’t?
If you have another drone registered for hobby use and the registration is current AND you aren't using your MP for commercial use, you don't have to re-register since all of your hobby drones are covered.

True ~ you're actually registering YOU, and not any one specific drone.

Do they take cash?
I've never heard of anyone trying to pay with cash. Even if there is such a process in place, it would be quicker and entail less work on your end if you buy a Visa gift card and pay with that online.
