Just got a used Mavic Air and I did the "Fake GPS/FCC Hack" and I was under the impression that this mostly changed the power settings on the RC but when I connect directly with my phone (planning to take it on bike outings without the RC) I see it's saying that it's in the wrong region so the FCC hack has an impact on the Drone too (makes sense and it shows only 11 vs 13 2.4Ghz channels too).
Since the distance is limited to 100 meters for a 30 meter elevation (unless that can be hacked too ?) it's unlikely to have big impact IRL anyway ;-)
