I missed last night, the bright red of the setting sun on the Sandia/Monzano mountains east of Albuquerque. So tonight I went back ou331BA596591303612115363CC2945D89.jpg5A20B2B889A969A34ED3E1CBB33EA9FC.jpgt331BA596591303612115363CC2945D89.jpg5A20B2B889A969A34ED3E1CBB33EA9FC.jpgt at sunset and caught it tonight. Sadly it was not as red but it was still pretty. The Manzano's are the first photo and the Sandia's are the second. as the Sun set on Albuquerque but was still shining on the mountains..331BA596591303612115363CC2945D89.jpg5A20B2B889A969A34ED3E1CBB33EA9FC.jpg

Man! Those are nice!! Looks like the ranges here in southern california.

They are really one of the best sites here in Albuquerque. I want to go to the top of Sandia this weekend and fly my drone from there and get some movies of the whole Rio Grande Valley and Albuquerque over 5,000 feet below. That should be awesome.
Sandia . . . I'll read up on it. Not familiar with that area.

Be sure and post them!

ABQ is a great place to fly!
There are “no drone zone” signs all the way up Sandia Mountain though... ☹

Beautiful, one of the joys of drone community boards is we get to share and see where others live. Thanks for taking the time to post this

I am about at Menaul and Eubank. Between Eubank and Wyoming...in the Northeast heights.
