Hello All! I recently purchased an Air 2S, flown it a few times, watched 10,000 hours of YouTube videos leading up to the purchase and since (slight exaggeration). Working on figuring out places I can fly. Glad to have found a forum!

I live just north of Phoenix, Black Canyon City. Welcome to the forum! There is a cool park just off Carefree highway, south side, east of i-17. Also good mountain area flying in Black Canyon City, as well as off Table Mesa rd. Also just west of i-17 on New River rd, lots of open space to fly. If you are north end of Phoenix, might as well check it out.

Welcome to the forum. In AZ myself with an Air 2 and Air 2s. Lot's of places to fly but stay away from most city parks. Only a handful allow drones and even those only allow in certain areas of the park.

In order to be safe and fly responsibly, I completed a drone school, with videos as you have done. Also, took the Recreational UAS Safety test (TRUST) and received a completion Certificate. This certificate must be available to FAA or Law enforcement officials upon request. This document is evidence that the holder has passed the aeronautical knowledge and safety test as required by 49 U.S.C. 44809 (aX7). Just sharing this info because drone pilots have been asked to produce this document upon request.
