Front Camera Lens Cover

Long time lurker, first time poster. Love the Forum!

After a long day of wine tasting in Napa i decided on one last flight for the day. Shockingly.. drinking wine all day did not make me a better pilot! I put her in a tree and she dropped about 75 feet. Beyond scratches she was unharmed. However, the clear plastic lens cover for the camera was pretty scratched up. I usually use ND filters during most day time flying but don't like leaving the camera lens exposed when flying in lower light. I've searched the web and emailed DJI (so far no response) looking for a replacement. Any thoughts or recommendations?

I've never run across anyone selling the original M2P UV filter. If you're not able to get a replacement from DJI, you could use one of these 3rd party UV filters:

• PGYTECH
• PolarPro

Good suggestion msinger
Back in my photography days I had UV filters permanently attached to my lenses, rather scratch a filter than a lens.

Msinger - Great advice! I should have thought of that as I have UV filters on my DSLR lens just like Cyborg suggests!
