Gimbal Cover ... Never forget to remove it again.

I forgot to remove my Gimbal Cover so I decided to „Mod“ it a touch. I just added a ribbon to it so that I’ll never forget to remove it again. I was going to bore a hole in it but then decided to thread it through the slot on the hatch. It works a treat!

Well I did live in Scotland... but it’s the only thing I could find in a hurry.

here is my solution to this little inconvenience
Did it with Velcron so no harm done to the cover and most important highly visible with the orange string when you are in the field or something

This is what I did too and so far so good. Admittedly, I’m pretty forgetful but the sticker always seems to catch my eye.

Make sure it’s on your preflight checklist. Right before you make sure you have GPS and a home point.

I think it should says “ Remove before powering on” Thats because when you are power on you drone . Camera go through a few sequences of orienting itself with a few movements.(I don’t know about Mavic Air, i know my MP will do so) if the cap lock is not remove when powering your drone. That could cause the camera Gimbal overload that will means spending $ to replace whole camera unit.
