My buddy crashed his already and it seems like (from what he told me) the gimbal is now dangling. Has anyone fixed or teared down the gimbal area yet with photos or some basics I can share with him? I bought mine same time, and took a good look, but can't really tell what is up.

Let me know if you have seen any photos or videos that showcase how to get at the gimbal.

Or someone that could repair for him...

Thanks!

Hey, happy ending. He brought it over, all four gimbal rubber mounts had been pulled away from body. Two at very top front of drone and two more under front bottom. We had to take the top off, which was kinda easy. The front separates more easily than the back, and the sides are the hardest. The top sides need to be pushed in (you can see if you look inside battery space for the clips) and we did the front, then the back, then the sides. Once it popped off putting the gimbal little rubber pieces in was easy but I think some of them were on backwards or it ripped around when it came off. See pics for how I reconnected.

When I was putting the gimbal guard on, I noticed rubber patches in the well. What's this? Oh! The gimbal mounts.
