Good deal or scam?

The seller is guangzhoushanhanmaoyiyouxiangongsi. LOL and if you look at their other "Deals" they just seem to good to be true. They also have only one review posted around the same time as the deals came out so there that. I wouldnt do it or I would make VERY sure amazon would refund me without headache before even thinking about it. My opinion.

Those type of names on Amazon are now common, unfortunately. However, I would rather pay a little less and get the used like new offer from Amazon Resale....for various reasons.

Scam or not, it will be covered by Amazon

That very long name I have no hope of pronouncing translates to Guangzhou Shanhan Trading Co., Ltd. located in china.
They are an exporter Hmmm .

With that controller?.....it does sound too good to be true, but it is on the legitimate Amazon site.....worst that could happen is it is a scam and get your $$$$ back...on the other hand if it is a bona fide sale...it is a great deal

I don't get it, why would anyone take a chance on a drone that ships from China and you get it next month and you have no idea what version you might get and you could have trouble returning it when right there on that page is the very same drone for less price directly from Amazon get it on Friday and backed 100% by them with the description:

"Looks and functions as if it were new. Moderate packaging damage observed during inspection."

I don't understand the attraction but I guess that why scammers (not saying this one is a scammer) are so successful because a few (but not very many) get fixated and take the bait. When I open the packing on my drone, it usually suffers "moderate" packaging damage so your drone from China will have packaging damage before you fly it. If you get this box from Amazon and you don't like what you see, you literally can walk into a dozen locations around town and hand it over. I guess this seller might have a deserted forwarding shipping base in the middle of Nebraska you might be able to deal with.....

Otherwise, good luck with getting your Chinese DJI drone through hit or miss US customs. My last one said "ON HOLD" but it slipped thru anyway.

You can get to that page from the DJI website so it appears legit.
Says it would be delivered this Sunday.
I'm tempted to buy it. I don't need it with having my mini 4 but that's a good price.

But it doesn't. It's about more than just getting to a page. DJI.com takes you to Amazon.com as the officially seller on amazon for DJI drones. On that amazon page, you are able to get to various other sellers around the world including this seller who is the topic of this post. IOW, DJI didn't take you to this seller, they take you to Amazon. And the Amazon page is constantly changing including this seller which is apparently no longer selling the Air3S on amazon and the hot link in post #1 now takes you to.....Amazon.com.

So not saying this particular seller is illegitimate but certainly not in any way (that I can tell) endorsed by Amazon. However, by virtue of the listing under amazon.com (plus using your credit card) you do have a good amount of protection from A to Z. Still, there are thieves and ripoffs on Amazon just like on Ebay and Facebook; my point was for something this expensive you may want to stick with what you depend on if you don't want the headaches later down the road.

I never read the reviews; too many fakes.

Facebook doesn’t have buyers protection like Amazon. If I didn’t have one already I’d chance it.

Amazon has always taken care of any issues that I have had.

If you look at the reviews as of this morning, there are two that basically say it is a scam......

The saying "if it looks too good to be true, it probably is" seems to apply here.

...The deal dji has for 879 is the RCN2 controller.....not the RC2 the deal with RC2 is here

The Air 3S with RC2 is here

I have bought from them before with no problems.

So, kind of on the same topic. I'm looking to purchase a DJI NEO combo. In the past, I've always bought directly from DJI.com. Although today it is out of stock for me in Ohio. The "DJI store" on Amazon has it in stock. ( sold and shipped by Amazon) Is this legit? Why does Amazon have it and DJI.com does not? B & H photo says 12/26/24 maybe. Looked at older posts but not finding any current info. Thanks

Did you try Best Buy? They have the single but probably not the combo I guess.
