Seems like there are really no good answers for this issue so I'll share my experience. Of course I crashed which is why I had the "Can not take off. No GPS". After much troubleshooting I broke down and ordered a new GPS module from Cloud City Drones. When I received it I promptly installed it and then was faced with the "GPS Encounters Data Exception" Issue. Further pulling of the hair and troubleshooting I went back to my original GPS module and upon closer inspection saw that one of the wires was broken loose from the board. So I resoldered it and re-installed and now everything works great. I again installed the new module from Cloud City and still had GPS failure issues. Bottom line is I received a defective GPS module and will be attempting a refund request.
