I have been through Manangatang many times, usually taking the Mallee Hwy out of Adelaide when driving to mostly QLD, sometimes NSW, used to go that way to the snow fields annually many years ago too.

Ah, you must have the RePL too then, great you went through and obtained the ReOC to provide drone services, I think a lot of commercial pilots might overlook that.

I think the official UAV legislation here is part 101, mostly it's termed for commecial work to hold RePL, ReOC, and the AROC if wanting to fly in more controlled airspace, and have comms with other aircraft and towers.
You will see many references here to the US UAV commercial licensing of part 107.
They are similar, but quite a few surprising differences with some rules.
I did the ReOC after the RePL/AROC
I got a job which was directly in the take-off/landing path of uncontrolled airport
Nice job, ongoing business, so I did the ReOC in very short time
Can't look back now, next up is the 25kg weight class.
Part 101 is correct
