I own a Mavic 2 Zoom since September and my wife calls me a "drone fanatic'!
She is right, this time...
The most challenging so far: land safely on a scuba dive boat! I used some drone footage in a short Youtube video.
Of the material I published, this is the most watched one: 3D photo 120 meters above the Valkhof Park in Nijmegen, with a view of the river Waal (part of the Rhine delta).

Welcome to Mavic Pilots! :) Enjoy the forum!Thumbswayup

Greetings and welcome. I was in the Netherlands in December. Very tough to find a place to fly. I had a couple of days in Maastricht but the weather was rainy. I was out on a golf course that split the Belgium/Netherlands border. I thought it would be cool to launch in one country and land in another.

Landing on a boat can be challenging. Drones are fickle and can act nuts on bodies of water. The best advice I can give you is 1, don’t take off with low battery, 2 keep your eye on the drone location, 3 and this is tricky, learn to hand catch on landing. Way too many people lose their drone because they lose sight of it to bring it back to their location, not the home point . One guy thought for some reason the drone was following the controller as the home point, freaked out when battery went critically low and landed at the home point, in the water never to be seen again.

Anyway, I like your shot. Keep more coming.

Yes - I practiced hand-launch and hand-landing a lot beforehand, checking videos on YouTube - I even reprogrammed the Sports mode into ATTI mode to make it more difficult to catch the drone. It worked for me on the boat and I felt pretty confident!
