I have a Mavic 2 Pro and I am assisting a neighborhood group searching for a lost dog. I saw another searcher running a Phantom (not sure which model) getting chirp alerts when sensing ground motion. It was sensitive enough to pickup a small animal at 50ft or higher.

I am not sure if it was a feature of his hardware/camera or a configuration using one of the intelligent modes. I have experimented in video/camera mode, AF settings, and different variations of active track modes. I cannot replicate this.

Can anyone tell me if they have seen this capability with standard DJI hardware/software? I have searched the forums, Youtube, and Google with no answer. This capability would be a game changer when searching large areas.

I can only think of using a thermal camera.
If setup correctly, DJI Mavic 2 Enterprise Dual (or any other FLIR cameras) detect temperature changes (not motion!) in a specific area on the screen and, if enabled, produce an audible alert.

Maybe the Phantom was equipped with such a camera (FLIR Vue?)

in the sample above I get an audible alert when the temperature in the box exceeds 21° C.

If such a thing genuinely exists, it's definitely not a DJI feature.
It would be something very specialised and probably expensive too.
