Hi
I'll be co-organising a local meetup for the first time this week-end. There will certainly be a number of joiners, not all of them experienced, and we thought it would be good to distribute some instructions specific to group flying. Have you ever seen something like this or have experience that you would like to share?
Risks that we would like to avoid:
- Radio interferences (is instructing pilots to stay away from each other by at least 2 yards/meters enough?)
- Confusing your drone with another (any idea of a cheap marking solution that we could distribute on site to people who have no decoration on their birds?)
- Collision (Should we forbid sideways or backwards flying? limit or forbid altitudes changes? impose a speed limit? impose line-of-sight flying?)
etc.
Thanks for your help!
PS: Of course we selected the location for the event quite carefully (no population, far from all local NFZs, etc.)
