GVC over A2cofc = confused. Mavic 2 operator

Can any one help with a query regarding whether or not I need to do the A2cofc if I have the GVC?
as I read it under an A2 flight it asks that the operator has additional competency examination suggesting the A2cofc" so given that the GVC is more in depth with a practical flight assessment surely this covers the additional competency part and would suggest you don't need to do both if you hold a GVC

@Nearenough313 the A2 C of C is based more towards recreational flying, the GVC is the replacement ,to the old PFCO commercial course and goes into more depth on log keeping and the requirements of commercial operations ,you can of course do both if you want as a package ,there is no need to have a commercial qualification to earn money from flying your drone any more ,as the different categories, are now based on flying weight of the drone ,and what the risk level of the flight is ,
