Halo on video? No cover and it wasn't dark - please help!

Hi,
I took a video for my local lifeboat station the other day. Was shot in 4k, light was gloomy but OK, I ended up with some weird halo thing on a number of the video shots. Can anyone advise please? Ive attached a few screengrabs of the video...

I got the same effect I haven't had a chance to test it because of the cold but I think it may be caused by filming while in camera mode.
