Happy Wife!

Went out flying again last night with my wife we had a guy come over to us, turns out he was a photographer, asking loads of questions about the drone etc. Great discussions were had between the three of us, I carried on flying while my wife answered all his questions and Carried on the discussion about drones she was showing him photos on her phone that I’d taken and was quite in grossed in a conversation with him.

Now I was gobsmacked how much my wife knew about our hobby, hats off to her for taking an interest in it, she even explained about flying in a class D airspace.

I take my wife with me almost every time I go flying. She's my observer and she has started to develop a photographic hobby of her own too. She's thinking about getting a good DSLR, I'm trying to talk her into a good D.R.O.N.E. But either way, as long as she is out there with me I'm happy.

Actually "My" wife and I "Do" fly the same drone's together... In addition to our MP and M2P We have the Inspire 1 and Inspire 2, they each use two controllers, the I2 even has 2 cameras, (one for the pilot and one for the photographer/videographer). My wife enjoys taking the photos and videos via her controller and ipad while I enjoy flying the aircraft using my controller and iPad... ;-)

Yup!! I've been flying for 4 years; I'm now using the Mavic 2 because it's easier to schelp than my former Phantoms. As cinematographers (mainly underwater) we travel with upwards of 8 23kg cases of dive & film gear so the Mavic is a perfect piece of kit...for now ;-) I take my drone with me on landbased trips to the Arctic and elsewhere, too. My wife look's on my drone flights as a wonderful time of piece with me out of the house. So much so that she baught me a couple of extra batteries and makes sure i have them fully charged before i leave the house.
