Has anyone taken the drone into Thailand recently?

I'm planning a trip to the UK in the summer and plan to drone over there. But I will also be stopping by Bangkok for a few days.
I have no intention of flying the drone in Thailand (just wanna stop by for massages).

Does anyone know if I still need a Thai license to bring the drone in through customs?

I have never brought a drone into Thailand, but this might be of some help.
