Having trouble

Hello everyone. I'm new to this forum and I've a little issue. I can't for the life of me get rid of the notification icon on the app!!
Any help would be appreciated

Open the App | click the Menu Item in the upper right | Click Notifications | Click the check mark in the upper right hand corner | Select Yes | Select Messages | repeat! If it still shows after you've marked all items read, you might have to log out of the app and log back in. If that doesn't work, there may be a glitch in the app. I think the app is really wonky sometimes.

Got the solution from Viz, get some black insulating tape, cut out a small dot and cover that notification. You may need to move the dot temporarily when you open up your icon group. But once you get used to it, it works a treat!

Apart from that....try what he ^^^^said.
