Hello everyone, new pilot from Seattle/Puget Sound area. Have had the Mavic Pro for about 10 days and am giddy like a school kid from the unbelievable capabilities it has.
Interested in learning quite a bit more on the following topics:
- Safe/legal flying habits and prep (following the lead of the FAA guidelines)
- Connecting with other pilots who have a photography background
- Learning more about how to monetize our drone habits
I am a tech exec with a 30+ year history in photography, and cannot decide if this new hobby feeds the need of the photographer in me or the kid who just wants to fly. (as an aside, I grew up around Navy jets - dad was a Vietnam era Navy pilot, so wherever there was a carrier - I probably lived there...).
