Help with mavic air 2

It sounds too complicated. I fly very low just for testing only. This is my first attempt on active tracking around my neighborhood. The airport is literally less than 4 miles away and I am always scared when flying hoping the drone doesn't take off on its own. Well, it looks like I can not attach a file. 895mb too large for the forum.

Download the AirMap or KittyHawk app for iOS/Android, and you can see the controlled airspace around you. It's pretty simple and you can usually apply for authorization and be granted it within 30 seconds via one of those LAANC-enabled apps. There's no exception to the law for "flying low for testing" if you are indeed in controlled airspace.

Too complicated ? Its easy as he'll.

I don't think the issue is being arrested but will he be able to take off. The GEO Fencing is fairly precise but not down to the level of a block. The circle around the airport isn't always a perfect circle with a radius of 5 miles. Take a look at this section of the GEO Fencing map and I can see that in some situations it might not be perfectly clear if your house is within the authorization zone.

So you're just outside the "Forbidden Zone" .

I'm right in between the Farmingdale and Islip controlled airspace so I can fly as far as my eyes will take me all around my house. Although there isn't much of interest to see other than rows of houses the Heartland Golf Course and Brightwater Farms .

I have a mavic mini now and I can fly it at home just as long I give my ok to the questions my remote ask me every time I fly because I’m in that zone.

My MA2 has not arrived yet, but since my Mini flies with the same Go Fly app with Fly Safe database, I would assume that my MA2 will be able to fly wherever my Mini flies.

Well the airsence just cut my height limit to just under 200 ft also my Mavic Pro also got hit, but as far as distance no problem, so you live west of me well stay safe and fly safe.
