So after weeks and weeks of deciding if I should go with magic air OR the phantom 4?
I went with the magic air (purely on price) as I have never flown a drone before (I believe I am a responsible adult) but want good quality arial pictures from my local cricket team.
I am slightly worried about signal dropping out from the control unit are there signal boosters that anyone can recommend?
Also I live out in the sticks, is it imperative that I have the drone in visual sight at all times?
I will have the only drone in the village so looking forward to getting some great pictures of the village.
There is an airfield 3 miles away but the flight path is in the opposite direction.
Look forward to spending many an hour reading posts.

Hello HB,

I'm originally from across the pond in Rotterdam but now live in Indian country in Canada.
There are people from your neck of the woods who would be more qualified to give you the answers pertaining to rules and regs.
There may be restrictions due to the strip you talk about which usually extends to 5 miles or so in radius.
Also flying near people may cause you some grief as usually there are restrictions there also.
Please inquire before you fly.

Other than that I hope you have found your go-to site here.
Welcome and good luck.
