Hi!
Is anyone else experiencing horizon tilt issues from time to time, or is it just me? I own and fly a Mavic 3, Mini 4 Pro, Flip, and Air 3S, and I’ve noticed occasional horizon tilt problems. I almost always fly in the same area. After takeoff, as I climb and move forward, the horizon appears tilted, but after a while, it straightens out. I usually notice this issue with my Mavic 3—which, believe it or not, has been replaced three times due to this very problem!

Thanks!
George

Any chance you have a sample video so we can see it in action?

The video you see has 2 parts from 2 different flights and this is after take off(after a while it is visible in the video i think it straighten out). I performed, IMU cal, Gimbal cal, Compass cal in level surface away from metal objects etc.

Thanks,
George

Just to clarify, you're referring to this, correct?

Since it seems this issue does not occur throughout the entire flight, I'm wondering if the gimbal is completely level during those portions of the flight. Your flight logs should show whether or not the gimbal is reaching its endpoint, or if the aircraft is not relatively level (like in windy conditions).

Thanks for your answer!
Well I guess during this time the gimbal is not straight for some reason, and during both flights especially the one you ve checked above the was calm wind condition(light wind).
I don't know..
Is there a tool other than an app I have in my mobile that o can check further my logs in more detail?

Thanks,
George

You can look at that flight data using either of these flight log viewers.

Share one of your TXT flight logs here if you'd like others to review and comment.

Gimbal roll was always 0 during the last flight(picture indicated). I ve checked another flight but this one was windy, never the less the horizon was straight and in the log reader i saw that when i pointed the gimbal at approx 50 degrees down the roll was a little off ,but not for much ,and it was not visible anyway since the camera was looking down. In general i ve checked 3,4 flights everything looked good with the IMU and gimbal position.
Great app, i really concider to buy it, since i fly a lot and it will be very helpfull.

Thanks again,

PS: i still cannot understand why it does this, do you think that i should contact DJI again, or is it too much?
