How do I replace the gimbal cable on my air 2?

Hi guys, does anyone know to take apart the air 2 gimbal, so I can replace the ribbon cable (since mine was damaged after a crash)

My guess is that would be incrementally more difficult, primarily because we don't know the level of disassembly required to attached the other end of the ribbon cable (the one internal to the gimbal). Not only that, there may be adjustments/calibrations done in the sub-assembly that you can't do without the proper tools.

I busted mine up in a crash. I sent it into DJI in grapevine TX and they sent me a new one for $137. Before that I tried replacing wires and fixing the gimbal myself to no avail. Far too small of electronics to work with. I don't even think DJI repairs them. I think for them its just cheaper to replace the drone. That's my 2 cents. Save yourself time and trouble and send it in.
