Hello MM2 pilots
Before my maiden flight, I am finalizing my checklist.
From all I have read or see on youtube video, the main check is that the TH must be recorded with your exact location (and not a old one). I read the user manual and I think there is some lights, and sometimes I heard a voice.... but I want to have a double check before taking-off. How can I check it .. and take off with no worry.
Thanks in advance

You can confirm the Home Point has been recorded by the audible command and the map .
However there is no way to confirm you RTH setting other than to set it correctly and test it out.

If you test the Return to home button when the drone is to close to you , it will not work the same as when it is further out , so do your test 200 ft away and watch for the drone to rise to your setting, that is the best way to check it.

Every time you get an update , you will need to recheck that setting .

Whatever you may have seen on YouTube, the aircraft has no memory of previous home points. To ensure that the home point is accurate, follow the advice given by the app - check the location on the map.

This, do that before take off, and ensure orientation is same (approx) direction on the map as it is on the ground.

Not sure if you are talking about precision landing for manual or failsafe RTH ?

If so, not sure about your model MM2 options (if there on Fly) or if the same settings as my M1P, but to do that I go straight from take off point to minimum 10m (about 33') and within seconds I get a message on the screen to the effect precision landing enabled.
Hardly ever use RTH, but if you do so regularly right through to landing in the process, it's a good idea to do this if your model has it, just check what's needed for the MM2 to enable if so (the Go4 menu has a toggle on / off option in settings for example).
Note - The other thing to be aware of with precision landing is you need a good contrasting pattern take off point, a landing pad with H pattern and orange colour usually contrast well, but I also just look for defined contrasting patterns on the ground, or use a black rubber car mat if near the vehicle to ensure it gets recorded ok.

I just hover a few feet above the ground until I hear 'home point has been updated'.

Once I hear this I assume it's OK to fly.

Welcome to the forum from Chicago the Windy City.
I wait for the audio message, Home Point has been updated.
Before going higher, also double checking by checking RTH, doing 50 feet up and 50 away from me to see if it works. And, if it does something not initiated by me, I press cancel.
