I had weakness too. Original plan was to get just drone and extra large battery, and hold out that my RC Pro would eventually work with it (and use a std controller until then). But when I saw only August availability I clicked the same buttons you did. Only live once.

I told myself I'd wait. By 10 AM I'd ordered the pkg with the Smart RC, 2 year protection and fly more plus kit.
Now I have a Phantom 1, 2, and 3 along with a Mini 1, 2, and 3....lol.
