When I open the Mavic Air's mini SD card's untitled DCIM Folder on my MacBook Pro, I get three files: DCIM, LOST.DIR, and MISC. When I open the files, each is blank, i.e., no images or information. Is there a trick?
According to the Mavic Air manual, it has 8GB of internal storage. You should check in the DJI Go app to see if that is where the images are being stored. It is set that way by default from DJI. Change it so it writes the images to the SD Card.
There is nothing you need to do on your Mac. The DCIM is a folder, the images will be jpg and will open with no issue on any Mac. If your GO app is set to internal follow the instructions for connecting your drone to your Mac and copy the images to your hard drive.
Search youtube for mavic air setup There are a number of videos that will help. Reading the manual a few times is also a great idea.
