Recently went to this Digital Exhibit .
I was not prepared to sit on the floor for an hour and Half in a tiny circle as they movie played , Ho hum was the show so I made my own.

6 things I learned from going to the Exbit.
1. Start a yoga practice 3 months prior to going.
2. Since your sitting with no back support for hours , watch for your fingers to get run over
3. Rocking helped with the hip pain.
4. Scan for the nearest door to exit as fast as possible
5. Dont look at all the bored people because your one of them
6. Be Careful of the Wizards in the wheel chairs spinning to see the show they can knock you out.
7. I kept waiting for the Ear , there is no ear.

Phantom Rain:

I have to disagree with you about the Van Gogh exhibit. My wife and I spent about an hour in the actual surround projection room (not including the ante room with the historical reading materials). We also did the virtual reality exhibit for extra $5.00 which was the best part. The projection room had plenty of bean bags, and small seats. We found it wonderful and enjoyable.

However, I did enjoy this film you have submitted!

Oh believe me had they have had a bean bag or a chair or a bench i might not have had to practice my Yoga in tiny Ring of fire I was allowed to sit in on the floor.

Some older people went to lean on the back of the wall and they were asked to sit away from the wall . Cleveland ohio exbit was very poorly run.

Here are some examples. You should have come to Miami to watch it.

Saw the same show but there were only rings on the floor that were lit up where people were told to stay within the circle. It was painfull. lol 3 ft circles. UGH I wish i had a picture to show you .

Imagine 4 People sitting in a circle, and you know exactly the type of Yoga that was going on.

We were thinking of going, glad to hear we did not miss anything. My wife wants to do the one in Columbus next week, not sure if that too will be the same as our local one. Plus the Cleveland one is in a questionable neighborhood.

No you did not miss anything ,, the music was good and helped me get thru it. You should call ahead and ask what the seating is , because if its the hard marble floor , you should pass.

This was the highlight for me of the whole show . After that my camera never came out again. lol

Miami actually had two simultaneous exhibits going for a while. We asked around and picked the better one. There was also an optional VR exhibit with goggles for $5.00 more after the main show. Very worthwhile for us. Agree it's a good idea to as k about seating. You can always bring a cushion if not. Ours had benches and beanbags. Google tour exhibition to see actual photos of what it's like.

Here is a picture of the cleveland show , Notice how these people were allowed to stand. In my group no one was allowed to stand , everyone had to sit on the floor. and if you were not careful your fingers would get run over by the number of wheel chairs zooming around. lol 2021-12-23_12h23_23.png

I know this thread has absolutely nothing to do with drones but it is fun to talk about it. Again, the Miami show we went to allowed standing, leaning against the walls, had bean bags, and benches. People wandered about, came in and out. We stayed for one cycle of the show, and I laid down sometimes on the bean bag, or sat up on the bench. I moved around. I took as many pictures and videos as I wished with my iPhone. We both thoroughly enjoyed the show and were glad we did it. I did not even know there were other shows with such strong rules. We may not have liked it as much if that were our case. I'd consider going, but call ahead to ask your questions. The exhibits before the show room door were of great interest to us too. They had recreations of Van Gogh's room at the sanitarium, stories about his friendship with Monet, and lots of information I never knew before. This is considered the new way to see art rather than to schlep through an art museum.

I would have liked to have had voice explaining more about the pictures , to put some context, I kept waiting for him to cut his ear off. or for them to enhance something else besides a venure of brush strokes. A lot of people walked out after 10 minutes . They need to do better,

I'm glad you and Dale reminded me of that Exhibit. The tiny Ville of Auvers-sur-Oise where Van Gogh lived and died, and all the stories and rumors of what took place is a favorite memory of my visits to France. You can walk from his room, along the same path to the field where it shot himself and walked back to his room. He and his brother Theo's grave, practically unmarked but laced together with ivy, is in a small Cemetary right across the road from the shooting site.
I think about it all the time. The friend I traveled with only remembers ..."oh yeah..that painter dude"

There is one thing i discovered ,
That there is the paint that you can use and completely erase with a blade .

I took a picture of these , and thought why are kids using crayons when they can have these puppies and create Fridgerator master piece.

This guy painted all these trees and than he took a blade and erased them all. Mind blown.
He sells his drawing for $230 because there so vibrant on the canvas and guess what I can scribble. lol
