Ipad Mini 4 setup for drone flying

Hi. Just received my Mini 4, and wondering if there is a flight preparation guide similar to the one for Android devices. I'm new to Apple, and looking to eliminate bloatware, and anything eating up CPU, RAM, etc. Getting rid of Siri would be a priority, too

I also run an iPad Mini 4 and I have turned off Background App Refresh, all notifications, all iCloud services, and I only run Go 4 on the iPad. I have removed everything else.

I have heaps of stuff installed on mine and it runs fine. just shut down all other background apps before running Go4.

Turn off Automatic Updates too !.
Airplane mode after getting your maps downloaded.
I also turned off ICloud Sharing so my 16000 photos don’t load to my iPad.

always patched to latest version. and iCloud turned on, because I use it as a tablet too.
