As DJI Go 4 4.1.22 out and proven resolve the problem with BT300 lag and pixelated issues. Why DJI still not up and put into Moverio Market. I start to wonder the so call partnership with Epson is already long gone!

Perhaps we should start a pressure group that if DJI do not resolve some of the niggly problems that there products have that we will not purchase any future products from this company, if it hits there pockets then you can be sure that they would resolve these problems, after-all they products are quite expensive, also more information on firmware.

if it hits there pockets then...
I am with you, but as long there is no serious competitor, it's not gonna happen.
Even if a few hundred persons do not buy their stuff in the future, it does not hurt DJI.

You can just sideload 4.1.22 onto the BT-300, I have done so and many others as well. It works without any glitches and there is no more pixelation and latency

why stick with the buggy 4.1.18 , which could result in your drone flying away when you can easily move to the more stable version

I wonder how many person actually purchase BT300. I don’t think DJI give a **** for few hundred users especially we are not using their 1kg goggles.

We are talking about consumer right here. Of course we all know there is other way to keep BT300 still work with Mavic, but still thats not the official way.

If the Admin of this forum and DJI's forum got together to raise our concerns and produced a petition raising these issues. We all work really hard to buy their not-so-cheap products so why can't we have what they produce in their sales patter. I suspect that DJI are showing a degree of arrogance and they try to fob us off because they are the market leader, maybe they need a good kicking to bring 'em to there senses.

Yes I agree with that, this is the way it should be, but it's Epson that needs to do the work with 4.1.22 and get it loaded into the Moverio apps store, DJI has nothing else left to do as it has already developed 4.1.22

For me the risk of using 4.1.18 outweighed any considerations around what is right or wrong from a consumer perspective. I don't want to put my AC on the shelf while a company takes months to sort out the version issues. While some of us are out there having a great flight experience using our goggles without any latency or pixelations, some of us continue to struggle with buggy software that causes our BT-300 controller to overheat. I am not sure about you but I can't afford a usd 1000 fly away based on following a principle, to reduce the flight risk and save money I need to use the best software for the job and that is, like it or not, 4.1.22 or at a crunch 4.1.15.

You could be waiting awhile for this version upgrade to 4.1.22 to be officially done, but the outcome will be the same as side loading it now, even Epson software engineers helped Tonye53 work out the process to sideload 4.1.15, so they are also looking for 4.1.18 work arounds.

Hopefully Epson will update the latest version for you soon.

I am thinking about buying a pair of BT-300s, forgive me so there's no confusion on my behalf - so which GO and GO4 app do you recommend side loading?

If you have a Mavic, the app is "DJI Go 4 for drones since the P4" version 4.1.22

Here is the process to do it, it's pretty easy

Success with 4.1.22

Great news, Epson's even faster than DJI who can't even get 4.1.22 on the Crystalsky.

Godiva92 will now be happy, he can actually use his BT-300 again
Iannes - Have you updated to the latest GO4 App from the Epson store and is it performing as it should?

Ken, no I haven't installed the new version from the Moverio store, I continue to use the side loaded version of 4.1.22 as I'm confident this works from using it.

There is no reason to suggest that the store version will be any different to the side loaded one, it should work well too.

So that gives a bit more confidence to go-ahead a buy a pair of BT-300's then. Thanks for your support - appreciate it - Ken

I also get confidence that "Epson Moverio" is on this forum as a rep for Epson, so any issues we have can be relayed back to the their support better
