Is there a way to do 180 degree panos looking down?

In Go4, no matter where I have the camera pointed when I hit the shutter button, it takes the panorama with the horizon parallel.
For example if I wanted to take a 3/4 angle shot or even straight down shot, is there a way to do that?

Take control and shoot it manually.
It's faster and more flexible than automating the process.

Just make sure to leave an overlap in the images so the stitching software will be able to properly stitch the images. I know for Lightroom one needs a pretty large overlap- like 1/3 or it will not stitch the panorama.

Does the sphere panorama takes the necessary shots? Just open the pano folder and select the photos you want to stitch?

That's how I'd do it, take a sphere and then crop the area of interest.

Perhaps just set a series of close linear waypoints and stitch with lightroom etc ?

So I guess the answer is “no”.
I’m not looking to purchase and learn a new program just for stitching, but I’ll try cropping a sphere.
