If you look at this footage the second scene the crane is wel below the horizon. Nevertheless I felt some tension flying over it.

Objects often look much closer in the view than they really are. I too get nervous approaching potential obstacles, particularly when the gimbal is not looking straight out. But with the horizon trick, I can get myself to put my mind at ease.
