I have been thinking about a drone for sometime. Reading articles and reviews of drones and found the Mavic Air 2. I purchased it on May 1st and can't wait. Very anxious to get started.
I was an avid RC 10th scale dirt track racer in the 80s. Oval dirt track was very popular then. I had the bug bad, spending about $30 week on equipment, batteries Etc. That's in 80s dollars. Quit because it eventually became a battery war.

The best advice I can give you is to fully understand the controls and characteristics of the aircraft before you take off for the first time. I know its boring reading the manual but it is vital.
