washed out as in the exposure is wrong? how do I correct this? shorter shutter speed?

I'm not a video pro. Maybe one will weigh in. I might try a bit shorter shutter speed and/or try a different white balance number. Or maybe a ND filter, if you aren't using one. I have seen one of the pros say the AWB does not work well.
