Las Vegas desert scene in 108 degree temperature!

It was a hot one filming today in Vegas, but i threw some footage together with a little editing from Final Cut Pro X and here ya go!

My Goodness that's quite a temp! I live in the Uk and it's sometimes iffy (in my head at least) if to fly in the early 30's (degrees C)

Did you notice any adverse effects to your drone from the heat?

I could tell it wouldn't lift or fly as fast but other than that it performed well. I didn't leave it up for more than half the battery life though and would cool it down in the AC and change batteries before launching again.

My iPhone screen shut down due to excessive heat during my last shoot so I started bringing it home 'blind' for a bit but then remembered the RTH button on the controller so that made it easy .

Amazing footage, takes on a new perspective of Vegas. It looks amazing driving there but a birdseye view is just breath taking.
