LOL 3 new batteries DOA

Being a happy P4 and M2P owner, I suggested to a colleague the Mavic Pro with Fly More kit... right out of the box all 3 batteries were DOA... the documented repeating 16 flashing lights behavior. I pre-warned him of the sagas with drone ownership but 3 DOA batts right from the rip sucks. He's off to Best Buy to exchange them. Ugh.

It sounds like a box that was probably sitting on the shelf (or in the back room) too long. DJI batteries don't last very long if they are not maintained properly.

That's what I told him... long time on shelf at some point the cells are going to deplete below a chargeable state and would need to be recovered... or in his case, a trip back to the store.

Someone posted a local deal on Mavic batteries. Someone else pointed out that the battery they got was dated 3/2017. Just crazy.
