Lost another drone

My man,

All of the drones on the bottom of the ocean that you used to own are your fault. That isn't a crack at you personally. It sucks, but it's real.
That has yet to be determined. Certainly when the battery came off in flight was not my fault.

"Had a good day today. I hit a branch once, but the drone righted itself so I didn't have to run down the beach a quarter of a mile to get it. Tons of surfers and hot girls at Cloud 9 today. All three of my kids took their second surfing lesson. The way the waves break here, it's very good for beginners. I find that the DJI RC will only fly 4 batteries before it's depleted. I guess because it has it's own display. My RC-N1 will go a lot longer. I could switch back to it. Unfortunately it rained really hard all of a sudden, and my drone got quite wet. A girl next to me did a hand landing. I told her she was pretty good knowing how to turn it over to turn off the motors. She said she has her own drone."

you said the above...

Are we talking about the same drone? The one that got really wet and then later went for a swim?

or is this one of the other drones?

In which of your three drone losses being discussed, do you think the battery detached from the drone in flight?
Well, we're not really discussing it now, but it happened in December 2018. I'm pretty sure I have a post on the Mavic Pilots somewhere.

If you're talking about the drone you lost during a waypoint flight beyond visual range, didn't it crash into a crane?

It's a bit confusing keeping track of all you drone losses. Eight now?

Wow... EIGHT?!??

No. This was in December 2018, my Mavic Pro Platinum, that had the battery attached to the top of the drone. The battery was slightly swollen, but I had flown with it a lot like that.

So, flying repeatedly with an obviously swollen battery finally caught up with you.

Is the total number of losses eight or nine?

I’ve lost the will to continue to read this and the accompanying thread re this guys blatant lack of care of his drones. I personally think it’s just clickbait now and I’m hoping that DJI throw out his claims.
