Lost control upon takeoff

Problem? When taking off, my drone gets up to 2-3 feet off the ground then drifts and I lost control completely. Cannot move the drone at all, only able to RTH. Note: these issues we're in Iceland and Norway and I was on the allowed frequency.

Was unit in a crash? Not before this issue. It flew quickly left in two situations, once it hit my car and once hit a bush.

What have you tried so far? Recalibrate gps, restart phone app.

What device are you using ( iphone , ipad, Samsung , etc)? Google Pixel 2

What firmware are you running ( aircraft, remote controller)?

is this a new problem, has it worked ok in the past.
are you waiting long enough for satellite's to lock ect?

are you using a controller, have you done a calibration on it?

Are you flying on lava or other volcanic rock? They are often highly magnetised and can cause compass and other issues.

I flew last week in lanzarote that is pretty much all volcanic lava, and in a volcano crater with no problems at all.
