Great comment, reminds us how abruptly this awesome hobby could end for some of the members on here - got me to thinking - feasibility of the members on here agreeing to fund the replacement of aircraft as essentially an MP Pilots internal crowd funding thing? Thoughts anyone? Would be subject to parameters like trying warranty first, uploading logs etc. to establish reasonable care was taken, and even if a percentage of the replacement cost was covered would help keep people flying. I know I'd be happy to contribute to help someone back into the air and would be great to have some support if my bird is ever lost. I guess it may be too hard, but maybe someone on here knows a bit more about that type of thing?

Your drone completely malfunctioned by the looks of it. I'm seeing a mess of errors I've never ever seen before. Your compass failed, your drone seemed unable to turn, and the IMU lost calibration. This log alone should be sent to DJI and they should warranty you a new one.

I'm curious! The only thing I can see wrong here is the aircraft in ATTI mode despite having 18 satellites. Please tell me how you deduce the other things, thanks.

My brand new Platinum also entered ATTI mode on its first flight while half a mile away but fortunately I was able to get it back as I have experience with RC helis but it was a close call. Since then I've updated firmware and the issue hasn't repeated, however I don't trust it.

So, you want to start up your own drone insurance company? But, without worrying about paying out money once all of the stored up cash has been handed out. It's an interesting idea, but it would probably be too time consuming to manage unless you're able to turn it into a full-time career.

So the emergency response in a fly-away may be to power down the RC to force RTH or Landing. I’ve had to do this because of very flakey iPhone to RC connection droppng midflight and not wanting to reconnect. Make sure your RTH altitude is high enough to clear trees and structures. Once it’s back close enough for easy visual flight you can turn the RC back on to hopefully resume flight control or just let it autoland. My MP has been horrible at staying connected with both Go4 and Litchi. Go4 freezes and I have to Swipe shut it down and relaunch. I started on an iPhone 7 Plus and now have an X and the problem is about the same and i’ve used different Lightning cables.

My only other thought is the OP probably should not make a maiden flight in 27mph wind conditions if that was the case. That seems like a huge red flag.

Amigo, creéme que lamento lo que te pasó. No tengo ni idea de como puedes encontarlo. No obstante, yo lo primero que haría sería ponerme en contacto con el soporte de DJI y verás como tienes suerte y lo encuentras.
Ahora, quiero hacer una reflexion en alto. Todos pagamos unos precios muy alto por el Drone (sea la marca que sea) entiendo que lo que realmente estamos pagando es precisamente por su I+D (Investigación y Desarrollo) puesto que lo que son los materiales su valor no es nunca mas de un 20%. Dicho esto. Creo que en este caso DJI tiene que buscarte y DARTE una solución. Estamos en un comercio desproporcionado y sin control, a expensas siempre de lo que marcan los fabricantes quienes a su vez nos utilizan de conejillos de indias para avanzar en sus nuevos modelos. Si partimos de la base de que existe un "obsolescencia programada" el resto de conclusiones sobra. Salvo una: "Cuando compres un Drone, piensa que es como si entraras en un Casino. Gasta solo lo que no te importaría perder en los juegos de azar".
Queramos o no...esto es un juego y los aficionados no dejamos de ser una especie de medio LudopatasDroneros.
Repito, te deseo mucha suerte y confío que el soporte de DJI, te diga como encontrar tu Drone o en caso contrario encuentre una solución a lo que te pasó.

If you are in ATTI mode then I would not recommend powering off the RC because you will lose telemetry, and you want position data for as long as possible. A better strategy is simply to apply full down throttle to force it to the ground or to manually select RTH, which becomes autoland in ATTI mode.

The log indicates that the compass, and the IMU failed. GPS lock or not, it can't hold position like that, so it switched to ATTI mode.

If you want the Mavic to land, then it would be better to initiate the auto landing procedure from the icon on left side of DJI GO.

While turning off the remote controller would probably be okay in many cases, it would not be a good idea if the Mavic has a good GPS connection and is drifting away in a strong wind. If you turn off the remote controller at that point, RTH would be initiated (using the default Remote Controller Signal Lost setting) and the Mavic would continue to drift away with the wind until the battery reaches the critically low level (causing the Mavic to auto land).

Just checked the Tab S2 and the file 18-01-01-09-39-53-FLY122.DAT is the only file for that date - 18-01-01.

Yea, I noticed that CsvView shows fewer sigPlayers available for these .dat files than for the Mavic .dat files. Still, it would be nice if CsvView could read these files.

I wonder. Is this a CsvView issue or a Go4 issue.

Check out CsvView 3.2.0.You'll need to tell it to accept an invalid DatHeader.
