Back in July, I accidentally flew my M2 Zoom into a tree about 75 feet above the beach where I fly. I could not see it, but it sounded like a swarm of bees until I stopped it. I came back with another drone and flew close to where it was, but it didn't show up in the video. Another trip in the fall after the leaves were gone, but still didn't see it. A few days ago, there was a severe windstorm so I made another trip to the beach. I spotted it about 50 feet into some waist high blackberry vines below the tree where it was stuck. I cut a trail to it and brought it home. After drying it in a warm place for a day and checking for moisture, moment of truth. The battery came back to life after a charge and the drone powered up. The only issues are a "vision system error". and the gimbal doesn't work consistently. Sending off to DJI tomorrow to see what they find.
