Did it once. After chasing for 2 to 3 miles, I was able to drop it to a cornfield behind the hedge of trees. NEVER again

I've been very conservative about my approach to flying. It's been a long time since I've flown (rc) but it was my passion all thru my 20 and 30's and 40's lol.

Strong winds, indeed. It appears you’ve got a bit of a reprieve for a few days, so hopefully you can get out flying. I’m a long time RC guy (air, land and pond) so I know how much I appreciate the ability to just let go of the sticks, and just take a breath. We couldn’t do that with a plane or helicopter. Enjoy!

I'm alway impressed by how well these things handle with heavy winds. I flew another drone probably 10 years ago, and it was difficult to keep in the air even with zero wind!
