Mavic 2 no compass redundancy?

Hi guys, just got my Mavic 2 Pro activated and was checking the sensors and i discovered that at least my drone has just one compass... Any info on that?

There is only one compass. Which is not necessarily a bad thing, more is not automatically better.

I might be wrong, but I think the 2 has dual IMUs and one compass.

Yes! The Mavic 2 Pro only have one compass, I don t know if is a app bug or really the Mavic 2 only have a one compass

I thought I read somewhere that the prior mavic with redundant compasses may have been a factor in fly-aways... so one compass may help prevent that. Who knows..

DJI has the A3 which can have 3 compasses. They have the algorithms to assimilate multiple compasses to average a true location, and reject interference. They just did this to differentiate the mavic 2 from the rest of their lineup. One good compass however, is more than enough. Just not sure if it's an M8N with good antenna and anti-rejection algorithms or not.
