I tried formatting the memory card on my mac and my drone wouldn't read it, i tried formatting it on my pc and same issue. I have a 64GB sd card. I tried formatting it to exfat. What are my next steps?

You didn't mention using Go4 to format it in the drone - have you tried that?

I suspect it doesn't show a card to format, rather than seeing a card it can't use.
Let's start with the simple ones ... ?

Maybe I missed it, but you still haven't mentioned what card it is specifically.
  • It could be a junk card
  • It could be a name brand, but counterfeit.
  • It could be a genuine name brand, but defective (it happens).
The final tests are:
  • Format it in the drone (but as mentioned, you may not be able to)
  • Try to use the card in another device (after formatting it in the Mac / PC, did you try writing files to it?)

Better yet and simpler... just use the SD cards. Don’t need to format. Works fine in the drone and on my Mac.

I too tried cards that "seemed" like the right ones, but a tiny detail was off and the card was not recognized. Here are specs that work ...

SanDisk
Extreme 64 GB
Micro SD
V30
XC I
U (with a 3) inside it
A2

The ones that didn't work had a 2 inside the U. Amazon said they were Mavic 2 Pro compatible. Had to return them for the specs above.

Hope this helps. Can be frustrating ...
