I know these are friction fit and AliExpress sells a tool to pull them out of the Yaw Arm.
I don't see any cracking. What do I have to observe to put it back into place?
Would a heat gun be advisable? Brass hammer? What about alignment? How are motors reinstalled if removed.
Should I coax it back in or pull/push it out to begin the reinstall?1000013002.jpg1000013001.jpg1000013000.jpg1000012999.jpg

I ended up buying the puller and reinstall clamps.
Still trying because now I need to buy a blind hole collet set to place into the 5mm bearing hole to remove an inner bearing that did not pop off with the bad coils section.

I bought both the complete Yaw motor and the coils. I am struggling to get the complete motor started straight into the Yaw/Roll arm as well………

Curious how much $$ your in to on this repair including the tools, etc.

Want to compare to cost for a complete gimbal/camera replacement, just FMI.

Sure. But my thinking is being prepared fir the future.

Oh, don't get me wrong, you and I are peas in a pod on something like this. I tend to fix stuff myself, simply because it's fun for the retired engineer in me.

Years ago, my P4 came down upright in a little stream, just deep enough to submerge the camera. Wrecked the gimbal motors. That was a challenging DIY.

Interesting aside, camera kept right on working the whole time I was looking for it. Interesting underwater video, a tiny fish or two (<1") swam by, stream of sand/gravel flowing by. It was kinda cool, ignoring the tragedy of it 😁😁

My one memorable crash was night flying. I manuvered to a chise orientation ready for taking flight. The trees in my yard got in the way. Fell only 8 feet but broke the middle frame leg alignment pin mount and ripped the ptz cable off. Bent the roll arm too. Nasty.....Cause was no depth of field in the dark.
