I would like to share my experience with DJI 4G dongle that I have bought in March 2025.

Yes, it works in EU.
Yes, I have bought it in official EU DJI online store.
Yes, it's original Mavic 3 bought in 2022, NOT Mavic 3 Classic, Cine, Pro etc. But in official DJI store it says that 4G dongle is only compatible with DJI Mavic 3 Pro and DJI Mavic 3 Pro Cine.
Yes, you only need ONE 4G dongle. Your remote must be connected to WiFi Hotspot.
Yes, it works with Drone-H.... FCC mode.
Yes, it works with RC Pro
Yes it's DJI Cellular Dongle, NOT DJI Cellular Dongle 2 for DJI Air 3S DJI Air 3 DJI Mini 4 Pro.....
Yes it works with latest Mavic 3 firmware 20.00.1500 (March 2025)
Yes, it's another level of experience.
No, your cat still won't respect you. 1000024332.png1000024333.png1000024327.png1000024328.png1000024329.png1000024330.png1000024331.png1000024316.jpg

Did you have to get a sim card to get it to work? If so, how much internet traffic does it consume?
Does it require subscription for enhanced transmission service from dji?
Hows the latency, is there a noticeable delay in the transmission?

Very interesting, thanks for sharing. Does the dongle increase the weight to over 900g (the C1 limit)?

Ofcause you need nano SIM card. It would be pretty difficult to calculate internet trafic needed because it will heavily depend on RC connection and 4G usage and will be different from time to time. I can only repeate what says on dji's FAQ page about dongle 2 "When fully relying on DJI Cellular Dongle for transmissions, the air unit will consume a maximum of around 1 GB during a 30-minute flight. The ground unit will consume a similar amount of data". Yes it requires dji subscription. First year is free, after that it's around 30€ per year. I still haven't tested it in flight, but on ground it feels promising. Lag is there, but it's more than OK. I will share my thoughts about lag after my first flight.
