The devil is always in the details. "They" are the hackers who cannot hack around DJI's 10,000 more sophisticated engineers, who are constantly plugging the holes they have previously left open, and remain available to hack on older drone models on earlier FW close to release dates. The new FW versions on the newest drone models are all anti-rollback, so you cannot even rollback to an earlier version for your drone that may have still been hackable to a limited degree. All software hacks specify the last FW version they are still supported on for each drone, if at all. Most newer drones have none at all.I didn't notice that. I thought they were always adding new drones.
